Help Believe in Me create clear, accessible scholarship communications for underserved youth, young people, families, schools, counselors, partners, and alumni.
We are seeking volunteer Scholarship Communications Specialists to coordinate approved web, email, social, presentation, toolkit, reminder, and recipient communications across the scholarship lifecycle.
Responsibilities Maintain communications calendars, audiences, templates, deadlines, and approvals
Draft eligibility summaries, application reminders, information-session messages, FAQs, and status communications
Verify dates, links, terminology, privacy language, accessibility, and source information
Adapt approved content for students, families, counselors, partners, and alumni
Coordinate design, translation, web, email, social media, outreach, and program review
Track delivery, engagement, questions, and needed updates
Protect applicant and recipient information
Avoid implying eligibility, selection, award, payment timing, or guaranteed outcomes
Qualifications Experience in communications, scholarships, education, email, digital content, public relations, or program administration
Strong writing, proofreading, organization, accessibility, and audience-awareness skills
Familiarity with email platforms, CMS, social media, presentations, CRM, or analytics
Ability to coordinate approvals and meet fixed deadlines
Multilingual or college-access experience is helpful
This is a remote, recurring role open worldwide. Expect approximately 3-6 hours per month, with seasonal peaks.
