ExecBrand Authority (EBA), a Walk West company, is an executive brand agency built on the belief that when leaders show up with clarity and purpose, everyone around them wins. We help founders, executives, and thought leaders build the kind of visibility and credibility that outlasts trends.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated, curious PR Associate to support our media relations and communications work. You will work on media relations campaigns, contribute to client projects, and have the chance to build your own portfolio in the process. Your work will be approximately 20 hours per week, but there is room to grow for the right person.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your work will span media relations, PR content, and project coordination, and
may include:
Writing press releases and other PR-related communications content for clients and partner projects
Pitching media placements, podcast appearances, and speaking opportunities to journalists, editors, and producers
Working within Muck Rack, Cision, or similar PR platforms to manage outreach and track coverage
Supporting book launch and thought leadership PR campaigns
Monitoring media coverage and compiling coverage reports for the team
Coordinating PR timelines and deliverables across multiple projects
Seeing firsthand how a modern executive brand agency builds visibility for its clients
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Exceptional writing skills — press releases and other PR-related content are your comfort zone
Familiarity with Muck Rack, Cision, or similar PR infrastructure tools
Someone who loves to pitch — you are energized by media relations and want to do hands‑on outreach
A strategic thinker who also wants to roll up their sleeves and do the work — we need someone who can execute against the plan
Strong project management skills — organized, proactive, and dependable across multiple tasks
Background in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, or a related field
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
Real placements. Real clients. Real results. You will leave with a portfolio of earned media, hands‑on experience managing PR for book launches and executive thought leadership campaigns, and a front‑row education in how a high‑performing executive brand agency operates and grows. You will learn from an award‑winning CEO who has built and exited multiple companies, led large organizations, and built platforms with global reach. You will work alongside a team of experienced brand strategists, content strategists, communications professionals, and a publishing partner who bring deep expertise and a genuine investment in your growth. This is a rare opportunity to see how a high‑performing agency operates from the inside.
