Sr Staff Product Designer, Video Apps

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Staff Product Designer Video Apps to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $207,900 – $301,050 annually

Responsibilities

Design precision controls that meaningfully influence generative behavior

Leverage 3D scenes and spatial relationships as inputs for AI systems

Develop workflows that support iteration and refinement of generative outputs

Translate emerging model capabilities into clear and usable creator interactions

Integrate AI capabilities consistently across product organizations

Create working prototypes to test ideas in real creative workflows

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product, systems, or interaction design

Experience designing complex creative tools or multi-step workflows

Familiarity with generative AI systems or AI-assisted creative products

Strong systems thinking, designing modular experiences across product contexts

Comfort working closely with engineering on technically complex problems

Ability to navigate ambiguity while staying focused on execution

Clear communication skills to articulate design intent across disciplines
