Principal Talent Management Consultant

Providence Health Plaza, NE Portland, Oregon – Providence is seeking a Principal Talent Management Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor and enterprise program consultant. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously evolving Providence's Performance Management Program to support organizational performance, leadership effectiveness, and caregiver growth.

Core Responsibilities

Partner with HR leaders, Compensation, HR Technology, Learning, Workforce Analytics, and operational leaders to develop and deliver integrated talent solutions.

Strengthen performance management, goal alignment, continuous feedback, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and leadership capability.

Oversee strategy, governance, and execution of key talent processes while ensuring alignment with Providence's mission, culture, and talent objectives.

Connect business strategy with talent practices, leveraging data and insights to drive decision‑making and translate complex organizational needs into scalable programs and technology‑enabled solutions.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of practitioner experience adding value to strategic objectives through talent management and learning & development methodologies.

5+ years of expertise in designing, implementing, and executing talent development solutions across a variety of functions.

Experience with all aspects of talent, including Performance Management, Strategic Workforce Development, Talent Scorecard/Succession, Accelerated Development, and Learning.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Organization Development, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources, or Business Administration.

Upon hire: Certification in Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP), Human Capital Strategist (HCS), or equivalent.
