The Personal Lines Insurance Broker focuses on developing new business opportunities for home, auto, umbrella, and life insurance solutions while building long‑term client relationships. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated sales professional who thrives on networking, referral development, and delivering a high‑touch client experience.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop new business opportunities for personal insurance products including home, auto, umbrella, and life coverage
- Prospect through referrals, networking, community involvement, and outbound sales activities
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with mortgage lenders, real estate professionals, financial advisors, and other referral partners
- Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure exceptional client onboarding and ongoing service
- Identify cross‑selling opportunities within existing clients and referral networks
- Manage and grow a personal book of business while maintaining strong retention and client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline tracking within agency systems.
Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty license required (Life license preferred or willingness to obtain)
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a relationship‑driven sales environment
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, networking, and closing new business
- Professional presence and ability to represent the agency in the marketplace
