Job Summary
WBTV is looking for an experienced, creative, and talented assignment editor. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, positive‑thinking, an excellent communicator who can work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills are a must.
Responsibilities
- Daily planning and deployment of field resources
- Content creation for all platforms
- Effective response during breaking news situations
- Generate story ideas through various sources; discern credible news tips
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Schedule flexibility is a must.
- This is a full‑time hourly position and may include overnight, holidays, weekends, and some overtime.
