Growth Sherpa Consulting is a full-service consulting and marketing firm that helps behavioral health organizations strengthen their brands, improve patient acquisition, and build sustainable systems for growth. Our team provides website design, digital marketing, SEO, paid advertising, content development, branding, technology consulting, and operational support.

We are looking for a Web Designer who combines strong visual instincts with a practical understanding of front-end website development. This person will help create, update, and maintain professional websites and landing pages for Growth Sherpa Consulting and our clients.

Position Overview

The Web Designer will work closely with our marketing, content, SEO, and leadership teams to design websites that are visually engaging, easy to use, mobile responsive, and built to support measurable business goals.

We are not looking for someone who only creates mockups. We need someone who can take a design concept and help turn it into a functional, polished website.

Create and edit pages within HubSpot CMS and WordPress

Customize website themes, templates, modules, and page layouts

Use HTML and CSS to resolve design issues and create custom page elements

Translate wireframes, brand guidelines, and creative concepts into responsive web pages

Ensure websites function properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

Support website launches, migrations, redesigns, and ongoing maintenance

Troubleshoot layout, formatting, plugin, form, and functionality issues

Work with the SEO team to implement page titles, meta descriptions, heading structures, internal links, redirects, and other on-page recommendations

Improve website speed, usability, accessibility, and conversion performance

Build and test calls to action, contact forms, landing pages, and lead-generation pathways

Coordinate with writers, graphic designers, paid advertising specialists, and account leaders

Complete website updates accurately and within established deadlines

Conduct quality assurance reviews before publishing new pages or website changes

Maintain organized documentation for website credentials, plugins, themes, integrations, and updates

Required Qualifications

One to three years of experience in web design, front-end development, or a related field

Experience working within HubSpot CMS

Experience building or maintaining WordPress websites

Working knowledge of HTML and CSS

Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design

Ability to follow established brand guidelines and design systems

Strong attention to detail and visual consistency

Ability to troubleshoot technical and design-related website issues

Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar platforms

Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate clearly with team members

Preferred Qualifications

HubSpot certifications or experience building custom HubSpot modules

Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or Gutenberg

Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields and custom post types

Understanding of technical and on-page SEO fundamentals

Familiarity with website accessibility and WCAG standards

Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console

Experience connecting websites with CRM platforms, call-tracking systems, scheduling tools, or marketing automation platforms

Familiarity with website hosting platforms, DNS settings, SSL certificates, redirects, and domain management

Experience working in an agency or consulting environment

Comfortable exploring best use cases with AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or ChatGPT

Interest in behavioral health, healthcare, or mission-driven organizations

What Success Looks Like

A successful Web Designer at Growth Sherpa Consulting creates websites that look professional, function reliably, and support each client’s broader marketing strategy. They communicate proactively, pay attention to the details, and understand that a website is not finished simply because it looks good.

Within this role, you will be expected to continue developing your technical skills, contribute ideas, accept feedback, and become increasingly confident managing website projects from concept through launch.

What We Offer

Hands-on experience across a wide range of website and marketing projects

Opportunities to expand your HubSpot, WordPress, design, and development skills

Direct collaboration with experienced marketing and consulting professionals

Exposure to SEO, paid advertising, analytics, CRM systems, branding, and conversion strategy

A supportive environment for professional development and career growth

The opportunity to create work that helps behavioral health organizations connect more people with care

Ideal Candidate

You are curious, dependable, and comfortable learning as you go. You understand the fundamentals of good design but are equally interested in how websites function behind the scenes. You can take direction, solve problems independently, and recognize when to ask for help. Most importantly, you understand that the quality of our work is reflected on patients finding great care. This work really does change lives.

You do not need to be an expert in every programming language or marketing platform. You should, however, have a strong foundation, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in becoming a more capable web designer and developer.
