is seeking a

Digital Media Buyer.

The

Digital Media Buyer

drives qualified customer acquisition through paid advertising channels, with primary emphasis on paid search. You own day-to-day execution and optimization across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and DV360, managing media budgets to maximize User to Quote volume at efficient CAC.

This role has a strong paid search bias. The majority of your time and budget focuses on SEM where high-intent users actively search for pet insurance. You also run programmatic display, video, and YouTube campaigns through DV360 for awareness, retargeting, and demand generation. You manage media budgets of $500K-$1M per month.

You use AI tools (Claude, Claude Code, AI agents) to accelerate keyword research, ad copy generation, audience building, bid optimization analysis, and performance reporting.

Job Location:
Hybrid in Miami, FL (4 days in office, 1 remote)

Main Responsibilities:

Plan, launch, and optimize paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads

Run programmatic campaigns through DV360 across display, video, YouTube, and CTV

Build and manage keyword strategies including non-brand expansion, competitor terms, and long-tail capture

Manage daily bid optimization, budget pacing, and campaign structure across platforms

Build and test audiences using first-party data, customer match, lookalikes, and intent signals

Develop ad copy variants and creative testing roadmaps with the design team

Build and maintain measurement frameworks connecting paid spend to User to Quote, Quote-to-Policy, and CAC

Run continuous experimentation across bidding strategies, audiences, and creative

Coordinate with the SEO Specialist on keyword strategy and SERP coverage

Coordinate with the Lifecycle Marketer on quote follow-up and remarketing audiences

Use Claude and AI agents to draft ad copy variants, build keyword expansion lists, analyze search query reports at scale, and generate performance summaries

Build agentic workflows that automate repetitive paid media tasks (negative keyword mining, bid anomaly detection, audience refresh, weekly reporting)

Basic Qualifications:

3-5+ years of digital media buying experience with primary focus on paid search

Hands-on Google Ads expertise across Search, Performance Max, and YouTube

DV360 experience including campaign setup, line item structure, audience activation, and bid strategies

Strong analytical skills including SQL or spreadsheet fluency for performance analysis

Experience managing media budgets of $500K-$1M per month

Track record of measurably improving CAC, ROAS, or quote volume in prior roles

AI fluency (REQUIRED)

Regular use of Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent LLMs for media buying work

Demonstrated ability to write effective prompts and structure AI workflows

Experience using AI for keyword research, ad copy generation, and search query analysis

Comfort building or adapting AI agents for repetitive media buying tasks

Willingness to identify new AI use cases and bring them to the team

Operating style

Comfort with rapid iteration and 80/20 prioritization in a startup environment

Bias toward shipping experiments and learning over extensive pre-planning

Ability to own acquisition outcomes, not just channel metrics
