Interim Commercial Manager £550pd

Client:

Major Public Sector organisation

Commercial delivery of a major, high-value, public sector procurement.

We're seeking Commercial Managers or Commercial Officers levels to join a high-performing commercial team delivering a strategically important procurement programme. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a complex multi million procurement, supporting the transition from an existing long-term outsourced service arrangement to a new competitive contract.

The Role
Working closely with project and commercial teams, you'll be responsible for delivering the commercial workstream across the full procurement lifecycle, including:

Drafting contracts, terms and conditions, and tender documentation

Producing and tailoring contract documentation using established government contract models

Managing end-to-end competitive procurement activity

Leading supplier engagement, tender evaluation and commercial negotiations

Working collaboratively with a broad range of internal stakeholders to deliver successful commercial outcomes

Note:

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, candidates will be required to gain or already hold and maintain the necessary level of Security Clearance.

About You
We're looking for commercial professionals who can demonstrate:

5+ years' commercial procurement experience within public sector

Experience with large-scale service management or infrastructure contracts

Experience leading complex procurements from strategy through to contract award

Strong contract drafting and commercial documentation experience

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
