Public Information & Media Relations Lead

Butte County is seeking a Communications and Public Information Officer to plan, organize, and manage countywide public information and community relations programs. The incumbent develops content for websites and social media, advises officials, and coordinates media relations to ensure accurate coverage.
The role requires strong writing, editing, and design skills, with experience in journalism and media communications. This is an exempt, full-time position based in the County.
