The Black Code is a psychological short film seeking actors for multiple roles in the DMV area. It follows Shan, a young Black man confronting memories and trauma while facing the truth about who he became.
Filming will occur in winter 2026 to spring 2027. Some roles require comfort in water for swimming scenes. Rates are intended to be paid depending on crowdfunding. Meals and beverages will be provided on set.
