Temporary Lecturer: Fiction & Intercultural Writing

UC San Diego’s Department of Literature seeks Temporary Lecturer(s) in Literary Arts for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful applicants will teach craft and workshop courses in fiction and cross-genre writing, including Short Fiction, Speculative Fiction, and Intercultural Writing.
Appointments will be quarterly and part-time (1-2 classes per quarter) for 1-2 quarters, with a preference for candidates local to San Diego/La Jolla.
