About the Role
Study.com is seeking a hands-on, strategic Senior Manager to build and scale consumer lifecycle programs across email and SMS. This is a chance to set the strategy, and shape what it grows into. You’ll design genuinely intelligent systems — personalization that adapts to the individual and workflows that learn from behavior — backed by dedicated AI technical resources, a modern data stack, and a team that moves fast.
Lifecycle marketing is yours to shape — first hello to win-back. You'll set strategy and stay hands-on, backed by AI engineers, contractors, and tooling that turn one idea into ten shipped experiments. Alongside Growth, Product, Content, Creative, and Data Science. Based in our Mountain View, CA office; hybrid Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
This role is based in our Mountain View, CA office and is hybrid in office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end email and SMS lifecycle strategy, including segmentation, personalization, journey mapping, and continuous optimization.
Develop AI-powered, behavior-driven customer journeys and automated workflows that improve acquisition, engagement, retention, and customer lifetime value.
Partner with AI, Product, BI, and Engineering teams to build intelligent segmentation, event-based triggers, predictive analytics, and cross-channel campaigns.
Lead A/B testing, cohort analysis, and KPI reporting to continuously optimize lifecycle marketing performance.
Leverage AI tools and contractor resources to scale campaign execution while maintaining quality, speed, and efficiency.
Present performance insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to leadership, aligning lifecycle initiatives with business goals.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
Experience in lifecycle or retention marketing with a strong track record in email, or SMS.
Expertise in behavioral segmentation, event-based triggers, funnel design, and journey automation for individual consumers — not just account-level workflows.
A knack for messaging that connects emotionally — the motivations, anxieties, and aspirations behind enrollment and retention.
Nice To Have
Prior work in edtech, consumer SaaS, or mission-driven technology companies
