Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Lake Mary, FL. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications that support marketing, sales, investor relations, and customer support. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive front-end interfaces, building and optimizing back-end functionality, integrating APIs, and ensuring site performance, security, and scalability. The role involves collaborating with marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into effective web experiences, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting SEO and analytics initiatives. The Web Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform regular updates, and recommend improvements to enhance user experience and site reliability.

Responsibilities

Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

Developing and maintaining the back-end functionality of company websites

Extensive WordPress knowledge and support

Designing prototypes for page searches, apps and websites

Writing cross-browser compliant HTML, CSS & JavaScript

WordPress, PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL, T-SQL

Integrating data from various back-end services and databases

API Integrations, Architectures, Frameworks, Server-side Applications

Devising SEO strategies based around specific keywords

Code optimization for search engines, accessibility, load speed and render speed

Perform quality assurance (QA) testing

Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site

Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Requirements

Proven working experience in web programming

Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS

Proficiency with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, JavaScript

A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development

Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools

Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process

Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

AS in Computer Science or a related field or analytics platforms.
