About the Role

We're looking for freelance Audio Visual Technicians to join our on-call crew for upcoming events. This is a great opportunity for technicians who want flexible, project-based work in a fast-paced live event environment. Shifts are assigned on a per-event basis, so you can pick up gigs that fit your schedule.
Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and strike audio, video, and lighting equipment for live events
Run sound boards, projectors, LED walls, microphones, and related AV gear
Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and calmly during live events
Coordinate with event producers, venue staff, and other crew members on-site
Load in and load out equipment, including lifting and transporting gear
Follow all safety protocols for rigging, cabling, and equipment handling
Maintain a professional, client-facing demeanor while working events
Qualifications

Experience with AV equipment (audio boards, video switchers, projectors, lighting systems) preferred but not required - all experience levels welcome
Comfortable working in fast-paced, live event settings
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Able to lift and move equipment (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and flexible availability for event-based scheduling
Professional appearance and attitude when representing clients on-site
