Subject Matter Expert for Communication Programs
Duties

You will serve as a top subject matter expert in the assigned communication areas, providing technical and administrative direction to communication programs, and activities that impact Navy policies, staff and domestic and international operations.
You will use oral and written communication skills to advocate communication priorities and to negotiate positions to achieve desired outcomes.
You will advise the Chief of Information (CHINFO) senior staff and other Navy leaders on matters relating to assigned communication activities.
You will plan, direct, and execute national communication and engagement campaigns to publicize, explain, or defend U.S. Navy policies, programs, activities and topical decisions.
You will advise U.S. Navy leadership about audience attitudes and recommend modifications for improvement or effectiveness.
