About the role

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for executing brand campaigns, sales support, retail activations, and community engagement initiatives across New York for the Timeless House of Brands.

This role serves as the primary driver of in-market execution, ensuring national campaigns are brought to life through best-in-class retail presence, events, and field programs. The Field Marketing Manager leads local strategy, builds key retail and community relationships, supports sales team initiatives, and ensures consistent, high-quality brand representation across all consumer touchpoints.

In addition to physical execution, this role provides localized digital support and activation planning, ensuring alignment between retail, content, and CRM efforts to drive awareness and sell-through.

This role oversees the Kindness Team, ensuring field programs, activations, and training initiatives are executed effectively while delivering measurable impact at retail.

This role is highly executional and relationship-driven, requiring strong project management, creativity, and collaboration with Sales, HQ Marketing, and retail partners to drive brand growth across two distinct but connected markets.

Responsibilities

Field Campaign Execution & Retail Activation

Execute national campaigns, promotions, and product launches

Ensure dispensary activations, in-store presence, and promotional programs align with brand standards

Identify and implement market-specific opportunities to enhance campaign impact and retail sell-through

Maintain strong in-store execution through merchandising, POS placement, and staff engagement

Provide real-time feedback to HQ on campaign performance and market-specific insights

Event Marketing & Community Engagement

Plan and execute local events, pop-ups, and brand activations

Identify and develop partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations

Manage all event logistics including timelines, run of show, staffing, and on-site execution

Attend and oversee key events to ensure quality execution and brand representation

Capture content and support amplification across social, digital, and CRM channels

Digital Support & Activation Planning

Support localized digital marketing efforts in partnership with HQ, including:
Event promotion

Retail partner amplification

Geo-targeted campaigns

Align field activations with email, SMS, and social content calendars

Provide in-market content capture (photo/video) to support real-time and evergreen storytelling

Ensure retail and event moments are leveraged across digital channels to maximize reach and engagement

Kindness Team Leadership

Lead and manage the Kindness Team, including scheduling, training, and performance expectations

Establish clear daily, weekly, and monthly goals aligned to market priorities

Ensure high-quality execution of in-store demos, activations, and consumer engagement

Provide ongoing coaching to elevate team performance and brand storytelling

Oversee operational responsibilities including payroll, reporting, and field compliance

Market Insights & Business Planning

Partner with Sales and HQ Marketing to align field execution with market goals

Track performance of activations, events, and field programs

Deliver monthly market recaps including wins, challenges, and opportunities

Identify trends, competitive insights, and consumer behavior to inform strategy

Own and drive local market performance through proactive planning and execution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales to support key accounts, promotions, and retail initiatives

Provide direct support to Sales Teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, activations, and retail execution

Collaborate with HQ Marketing and Creative teams to execute campaigns and deploy assets

Support product launches through field readiness, training, and retail execution

Ensure timely communication and alignment across all stakeholders

Candidate Qualifications

Skills

Strong project management and organizational skills

Proven ability to execute events and retail activations end-to-end

Experience

3–5 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, retail or trade marketing, or brand activations

Background in CPG, cannabis, lifestyle, or experiential brands preferred

Experience managing teams or brand ambassadors

Proven track record in retail merchandising and activations

Additional Qualifications

Must be 21+ years of age

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed

Passion for culture-driven brands, community engagement, and experiential marketing
