The Role TheDirector, Brands PR & Communicationsis responsible forleading the development and implementation of integrated strategic communications& programmingthatgrows the awareness and love forGreen Thumb brands(cannabis-derived,hemp-derived, and retail). This roleworks toestablishGreen Thumb brands as a part of the culture of THC consumers, and leads the strategy,planningand execution ofall our brands'communications acrossthePR/medialandscape.TheDirector, Brands PR &Partnershipswill collaborate with theVP Marketing,CEO,Chief Commercial Officer,VP Communications,and Brand Leadstocreateand executearobustapproachto communicationswhilestrengtheningthebrands'reputation.

This is a remote/hybrid role. Candidates must be located in Chicago, IL or New York, NY. Responsibilities STRATEGY,PLANNING& LEADERSHIP

Serve as a strategiccommunications partner to the Vice President of Marketingand brand leads, ensuring alignment between Green Thumb's corporate narrative and the storytelling of itsHouse of Brands- to strengthen awareness, trust,love,and differentiation across consumerand potential partneraudiences. Lead the development ofearned media and PR strategies across Green Thumb brandsin concert with agency partnersand brand leads Handle sensitive or proprietary company information; Proactively planagainstandadviseleadership during challenges and crises.

PARTNERSHIPS

Ownbrand partnerships strategy, acquisition, and execution across the full portfolio of GTI brandsin concert with brand leads Develop pitch materials andstrategies to help secure brand partners inacomplicatedand changingregulatory environment andovercome partner category concerns

MEDIA & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Support brand leads ensuringall communication plans are executed on strategy, on time, and on budget Oversee and guidethe day-to-day proactive pitching and fulfillment of local and national media requests, speaking engagements, appearances, and major news pieces aroundbrandstrategies or activities, providing counsel, training, responses, and talking points whenappropriate. Draft, edit and continuously improve communications strategy and messaging materials, including press releases, briefing documents,FAQsand fact sheets for external audiences (media releases, speeches, bylines, etc.). Supportcorporatecommunicationsteamincluding quarterly earnings, updates to investor presentations and the annual report and CEO letter.Act asliasonbetween brand teams and corporate communications team. Oversee the monitoring and tracking of media coverage and mentions for stakeholders including senior leadership teams and board directors. Serve as a key communications representative; when necessary, act as company spokesperson.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience inlifestyle & brand PR/communications
Beverage alcohol or other regulated lifestyle brand experience preferred

Bachelor's degreerequired; degree in Communications or related field preferred Proventrack recordof building and implementing successfulbrandcommunications strategies Demonstrated success managing communications for multiple consumer brands within a single organization. Demonstrated ability to create B2B brand partnerships that drove brand awareness Ability to buildcross-functionalrelationships and interact successfully at all levels of the company Experienceselecting,directingand managing communication agencies Critical thinker with superb storytelling, writing,editingand presentation skills Highly motivated, self-directed,innovativeand able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, commonsenseand resourcefulness Possessesa strong senseof urgency and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment Adaptive problem solver who effectively navigates changeand drives towards alignment; decides and acts without having the picture totally defined; appropriately changes strategy in response tonew information Operates witha high levelof professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information

The pay range is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and/or location of the role. Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
