Sr. Consultant, Marketing

As the Sr. Consultant, Marketing, you will provide subject matter expertise and direction on complex marketing projects/initiatives that support sales growth, client retention and market awareness for retirement plan services. You will develop and execute strategic marketing plans that bring Lincoln's value proposition to life through storytelling, sales enablement and multi-channel marketing campaigns. You will serve as a trusted marketing advisor to sales, relationship management and business leaders, helping position Lincoln's capabilities in new business, finalist, and rebid opportunities.
What you'll be doing:
Develop and oversee the execution of complex and detailed go-to-market marketing strategies that effectively position, differentiate, and promote Lincoln's capabilities with key audiences.
Bring Lincoln's retirement services value proposition to life through storytelling for use in new business and retention situations, as well as through sales and service collateral and industry promotion.
Partner closely with sales, relationship management and distribution teams to understand market needs and identify and develop new marketing solutions that support business growth and client retention.
Serve as a trusted marketing consultant to business stakeholders by providing guidance on messaging, positioning and effective communication of Lincoln's capabilities and differentiators.
Lead the development of marketing content and sales enablement materials, including presentations, videos, digital experiences, collateral, emails, microsites and thought leadership assets.
Identify opportunities to enhance and evolve how Lincoln's story is delivered in market, leveraging digital capabilities, new technologies and innovative approaches.
Collaborate across marketing, sales, product, analytics and service teams to ensure alignment of messaging, strategy and execution.
Analyze campaign, engagement and business performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Monitor marketplace activity, competitive trends and field feedback to help refine messaging, marketing approaches and value proposition strategies.
Support strategic growth initiatives by developing marketing concepts, campaigns and resources that drive measurable business outcomes.
Continually identify opportunities to improve processes, increase scalability and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing support.
What we're looking for:

7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, sales enablement, product marketing or a related marketing discipline directly aligned to the specific responsibilities for this position
4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in business, marketing, or communications
Experience developing and executing complex marketing plans and campaigns
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into compelling marketing narratives
Nice-to-haves:
Experience supporting institutional retirement, employee benefits, financial services or workplace solutions businesses
Experience developing value propositions, messaging frameworks and sales enablement resources
Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed and logical discussions/presentations
Experience analyzing marketing performance metrics and communicating insights to leadership
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated strength in relationship management, collaboration and strategic thinking
Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures
Evaluate trends in data or information
Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements
Finds common ground and can gain collaboration among senior/executive management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding

The pay range for this position is $96,900 - $176,200 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
