About the Role We have a current opening for a Social + Digital Manager and are actively reviewing applications. The Social + Digital Manager will establish and lead the local, in‑house digital/social content team, executing the owned media strategies of brands across the portfolio with agility, specifically tentpole social content and real‑time pop culture opportunities. The team will manage brand communities for both company owned media platforms (primarily social) and the extension of brand content on customer (retailer) owned platforms, including product pages and display ads. To enable this work, the team will trend‑spot and produce culturally relevant content across the Ferrero portfolio in real‑time. The ideal candidate is a true social “Creator” with a history of growth and success across social media channels. This is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for developing compelling and engaging content and growing a digital footprint. Must capture each brand’s voice and speak to and understand the target consumer(s).
Main Responsibilities Content Design and Creation Design, create, and scale high‑performing digital, social, and influencer content that is authentic to our brands and follows platform best practices.
Develop modular content systems that can be adapted across channels and optimized for engagement.
Partner with creative, brand, retailer, and media teams to ensure aligned storytelling across the consumer/shopper journey.
Continuously test and refine content based on performance insights to drive stronger impact.
Deliver better brand alignment and local, cultural relevance; greater speed to market and agility to capitalize on opportunistic brand news and to be on‑time with impactful assets for our top retail partners.

Owned Channel Community Oversee owned channel community management across the Ferrero portfolio to drive deeper consumer engagement.

Influencer Program Partner closely with PR and Shopper teams on influencer programs.
Support end‑to‑end influencer content development, ensuring deliverables meet brand, retailer, and platform standards.

Social Trends Conduct social & search listening to uncover and understand trends.

Digital Ways of Working Orchestrate content ways of working between internal teams and agencies.
Facilitate cross‑functional alignment to ensure digital execution is consistent and efficient.

About You Education – Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience – 5+ years in Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Content Marketing. Proven experience developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business results. Experience creating content across major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn). CPG, retail, agency, or consumer‑facing brand experience preferred. Marketing to consumers and shoppers/retail audiences preferred.
Technical & Functional Skills – Strong content creation capabilities (content strategy, copywriting, photography, creative direction, social storytelling). Knowledge of social media best practices, platform trends, algorithms, and emerging digital opportunities. Experience using social media management, publishing, listening, and analytics tools. Ability to measure performance and evaluate KPIs, engagement metrics, audience growth, and campaign effectiveness. Translate consumer insights and performance data into actionable recommendations. Familiarity with influencer, creator, and community engagement strategies.
Leadership & Collaboration – Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with Brand Marketing, Digital, Media, Creative, Shopper Marketing, and Agency partners. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Self‑starter with strong initiative, accountability, and a bias for action.
What We Offer Base salary range: $155,000.00 – $206,000.00 annually (final compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors).
