Launched in 2020, The Lost Explorer Mezcal is now available in over 20 countries globally, with key lead markets being the US, Mexico and the UK. The taste and quality of the mezcal is world-class, having picked up multiple international industry awards, resulting in The Lost Explorer Mezcal achieving the accolade of being the world’s most awarded mezcal globally in 2021. Brand awareness amongst both trade and consumers has been increasing rapidly since launch, with a communications strategy that brings to life the brand’s three key pillars – Celebrate the Earth, Enrich Community and Live Curiously.
In Fall of 2024, the brand introduced its Tequila Blanco, a 100% agave, handcrafted expression that has quickly garnered recognition at the Latin America Spirits Competition, where it earned both Double Gold and Best in Class honors. With its ultra-premium pricing and exceptional range, the brand positions itself within the world’s fastest-growing spirits category, reinforcing its ambition to become the leading luxury agave spirit brand on a global scale. As of April 2026, the brand introduced tequila Reposado, aged in three types of the barrels.
