Qualifications
You think in the CEO’s voice well enough that a keynote, an all-hands narrative, or a board-facing deck comes back from you largely unchanged. You’ve built real credibility with analysts and internal stakeholders, and you know instinctively what to say, what to hold back, and how to make a message land without over-promising. A demonstrated track record of handling sensitive information with discretion and earning the confidence of senior leadership. Exceptional judgment — you know what to say, what not to say, and how to thread the needle between transparency and discretion. A strong written voice with the flexibility to write convincingly in someone else’s voice without losing the substance. Analyst relations experience — you understand how the analyst community works, how to build relationships, and how to position a company in a Magic Quadrant or Wave. 8+ years of experience in executive, corporate, or internal communications, including writing for senior executives — you’ve put words in the mouths of C-suite leaders and they’ve used them, unedited.
