Studio Video Production Specialist- On Site

ProMedia, a fast-paced direct-response advertising agency based in Miami, Florida, is seeking a hands‑on Studio Video Production Specialist to support our video capture, studio operations, editing, and digital production workflows.

This position is for someone with strong technical video-production skills who can serve as the primary technical operator during studio shoots. The right candidate will independently configure and operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment; adjust setups for different talent; capture technically sound footage; and resolve day‑to‑day production issues without relying on a dedicated television engineer.

This is not an editor-only, social media management, media management, copywriting, or general content‑coordination position. The central qualification is demonstrated hands‑on proficiency in professional video capture.

The role also requires strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for basic editing, green‑screen keying, compositing, and production support.

What You’ll Do
Studio Capture and Technical Production

Serve as the primary technical operator during single‑camera studio productions, working alongside a Director and teleprompter operator.

Independently configure and operate professional cinema cameras, including exposure, white balance, frame rate, resolution, shutter settings, focus, recording formats, media, and signal routing.

Operate and adjust professional studio lighting for different talent, production needs, skin tones, clothing, movement, and other on‑camera considerations.

Set up, monitor, and record clean production audio using lavalier microphones, boom microphones, and direct‑to‑camera audio workflows.

Independently troubleshoot day‑to‑day camera, lighting, audio, recording, software, storage, signal‑flow, and connectivity issues to keep productions moving.

Verify focus, exposure, white balance, framing, audio quality, recording continuity, and file integrity before uploading captured footage.

Upload completed capture files to the designated production platform for handoff to the downstream production team.

Green‑Screen Production

Operate and adjust ProMedia’s professional green‑screen studio setup.

Light and expose the green screen and talent separately to support clean, reliable keying in post‑production.

Control spill, shadows, reflections, uneven exposure, and edge contamination.

Adjust lighting and camera settings based on the individual talent and production requirements.

Capture footage that is technically suitable for professional chroma‑key compositing.

Perform green‑screen keying and basic compositing in Adobe Premiere Pro when needed.

Content‑Creation Studio Support

Set up ProMedia’s content‑creation studio for a variety of production needs.

Configure cameras, lighting, audio, and recording equipment for scheduled users.

Provide hands‑on technical assistance during content capture.

Help users resolve basic operational issues with studio equipment and production workflows.

Editing and Digital Operations

Perform basic video assembly and finishing in Adobe Premiere Pro using provided scripts, selects, creative direction, graphics, music, and brand assets.

Execute approved creative direction provided by the internal Creative Lead and Producer.

Support basic revisions, green‑screen keys, and straightforward production edits as needed.

Support digital operations by setting up digital dubs for distribution.

Maintain awareness of professional broadcast, streaming, digital, and social delivery standards so capture settings and source files support downstream production requirements.

Most final editing, finishing, exporting, and platform delivery will be handled by the downstream production team.

Required Qualifications

At least one year of hands‑on video‑production experience in a studio, broadcast, television‑station, commercial, field‑production, or comparable environment.

Demonstrated ability to independently configure and operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.

Demonstrated proficiency lighting and exposing chroma‑key productions, including adjusting the setup for different talent and capturing footage suitable for clean keying in post‑production.

Strong understanding of exposure, white balance, focus, frame rates, resolutions, shutter settings, recording formats, media, and audio levels.

Ability to troubleshoot day‑to‑day production problems without a dedicated engineer present.

Strong professional proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Experience performing basic video assembly, green‑screen keying, and simple compositing in Premiere Pro.

Ability to perform technical quality control on recorded footage and audio before upload.

Strong attention to detail, dependability, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and respond calmly to technical issues during production.

Reliable transportation and the ability to report to either the Fort Lauderdale or North Miami studio as scheduled.

Existing authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Applicants with television‑station or field‑production experience are encouraged to apply, provided they can demonstrate strong hands‑on camera, lighting, audio, and chroma‑key production proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a television station, commercial production facility, video studio, broadcast environment, or professional field‑production setting.

Experience operating professional cinema cameras, including equipment comparable to the Blackmagic URSA Mini 12K.

Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.

Experience with audio cleanup, color correction, motion graphics, pacing, music editing, or more advanced video finishing.

Experience supporting professional content intended for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social channels.

Portfolio Requirement
A portfolio or demo reel is required.

Schedule
This role generally follows standard business hours M‑F. Occasional early‑morning or evening production needs may arise.

Work Environment
This is an in‑office position supporting ProMedia’s production studios in North Miami (33181) and Fort Lauderdale (33304).

The role may initially begin remotely during onboarding before transitioning to an in‑office schedule. Candidates should be comfortable working at either studio location as production needs require.

This is not a remote or hybrid position on an ongoing basis.
