The UI Development Specialist / Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and developing user interfaces for touchscreen kiosks, web applications, and mobile applications. This role blends graphic design, front-end development, branding, and user experience to create products that are attractive, intuitive, and easy to use.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—creating graphics one day and developing interactive interfaces the next.
Responsibilities
Design intuitive user interfaces for touchscreen ticket machines and kiosks
Develop responsive web and mobile interfaces using modern front-end technologies
Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
Design icons, illustrations, animations, and interface graphics
Develop branding materials including logos, product packaging, marketing materials, and trade show graphics
Work closely with software developers to implement designs accurately
Ensure consistency across all digital products through a shared design system
Conduct usability testing and recommend interface improvements
Create production-ready assets for developers and manufacturers
Assist with product documentation, instructional graphics, and user guides
Stay current on UI/UX trends and emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with UI/UX
Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and development work
Proficiency with:
Figma
Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
HTML5
CSS3
Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and accessibility
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with React, Vue, or Angular
Experience designing touchscreen kiosk applications
Knowledge of Raspberry Pi or embedded device interfaces
Experience creating animations using After Effects or Lottie
Familiarity with Material Design or Apple Human Interface Guidelines
Experience with Git version control
Photography, video editing, or motion graphics experience is a plus
