About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at MPDV Mikrolab GmbH. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions tailored to the manufacturing sector. Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of our Smart Factory initiatives, enabling our clients to optimize their production processes through digitalization and automation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, a passion for Industry 4.0 technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing industrial or enterprise software, particularly in manufacturing environments, is highly desirable.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, along with familiarity with database management systems and cloud technologies, is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are critical.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 standards, IoT integration, and automation protocols will be considered advantageous.
Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer at MPDV Mikrolab GmbH, your core responsibilities will include designing scalable software architectures that support manufacturing operations, developing new features and functionalities, and maintaining existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for software development are integral parts of your role.
Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and stay updated with emerging technologies relevant to Industry 4.0 and manufacturing automation.
