MENSWEAR DESIGNER - Sportswear (Hybrid)

Salary- $75,000 +
Location- New York, NY- Hybrid
Exciting opportunity for a talented, and motivated Menswear Designer or Associate Designer to join the team in New York City offering a hybrid schedule. Work on expanding our men’s contemporary sportswear brand and be part of a growing team!
JOB DESCRIPTION

Design styles and research new fabrics that are new, and aesthetically appropriate for the brands including knits, and woven's in multiple categories.
Create detailed tech packs for development.
Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to execution.
Ability to translate design direction from mood boards.
Create tech packs as needed.
Proficiency in sketching illustrations.
Adhere to the time and action calendar.
Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production.
Maintain and meet all deadline demands.
SKILLS

Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
CAD experience
Centric PLM is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
