Combining strong visual design skills with technical writing expertise, the full-time Web Designer and Technical Writer will create and maintain web pages, produce technical documentation, and enhance digital communications for the DOJ ATR, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
Design, code, and maintain web pages, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and best practices
Prepare and edit various technical documents, including user manuals and FAQs, for diverse audiences
Collaborate with content providers and web team members to achieve project goals and improve digital assets
Required qualifications
Experience with Section 508/accessibility compliance
Familiarity with web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
Experience designing for government or regulated environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to explain design and content decisions to non-technical audiences
