Visual Content Designer

The Visual Content Designer is a hybrid-creative-technical role that blends graphic design and CAD rendering to create a compelling, on-brand visual asset for marketing and sales efforts. This individual will lead the development of photorealistic renderings and conceptual visuals for all Specialty Play Group brands – Play & Park Structures, Freenotes Harmony Park, UltraPlay, and BigToys – as well as support National Account projects as needed.
This role will report into the Marketing team but work closely with CAD and Product teams to ensure rendering accuracy, brand alignment, and visual storytelling across multiple platforms, including websites, catalogs, promotions, and sales presentations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create high-quality 2D and 3D product renderings, environments concepts, and visual merchandising layouts using tools like Lumion, 3DS Max, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Collaborate with the marketing team to visually support campaigns, product launches, website content and printed collateral.
Coordinate with the CAD team to ensure product accuracy in all visual assets.
Create custom playground renderings for National Account quotes when requested.
Maintain a consistent visual language and brand style across all renderings and marketing assets.
Manage a digital asset library of visuals and environmental templates to streamline production.
Assist with minor graphic design tasks related to layout and formatting (brochures, flyers, website designs, social media posts).
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's or bachelor's degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, or a similar field. Associate's degree in design or drafting is preferred.
Proficiency in rendering software (Lumion, 3DS Max, AutoCad, SolidWorks), plus Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong visual storytelling skills and an eye for layout, lighting, and color
Ability to manage multiple projects, work across departments, and meet deadlines.
Experience in playground, landscape architecture, or environmental design is a plus.
Experience in web visual assets or UX/UI is helpful but not required.
Language Skills

Must be able to read and interpret documents, drawings and specification along with the current safety guidelines and standards.
Must be able to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders through both verbal and written communication.
Ability to explain visual design choices and translate technical CAD language into marketing-friendly visuals.
Reasoning Ability

Must be able to analyze project requirements and independently determine the best visual solution.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in AutoCad, Lumion, 3DS Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with file conversion, export settings, and digital asset management tools.
Experience with Key Shot, SketchUp, Revit, or other modeling/visualization platforms is a plus.
