The work:
- Creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performing digital experiences that support enterprise and mission‑critical applications.
- Lead user research, design workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems while collaborating closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
- Provide technical mentorship, drives UX process improvements, promotes design standardization, and ensures compliance with accessibility and security requirements.
Here’s what you need:
- 8 years experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and design systems.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of Human‑Centered Design (HCD), usability testing, and accessibility standards.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Portfolio of work samples.
Bonus points if you have:
- Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field.
- Experience with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or other enterprise design systems.
- Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG accessibility standards, and inclusive design principles.
- Experience supporting federal, defense, intelligence, or highly regulated environments.
- Experience utilizing AI throughout the design process and AI code‑generation tools to rapidly prototype, build, and deploy production‑ready designs.
Security Clearance:
- Must be SCI eligible and willing to sit for a polygraph.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
