For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Public Relations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will shape brand and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen market presence and business impact. You will collaborate with analytics, product, creative, and commercial teams to turn market insights into scalable campaigns, testing strategies, and performance improvements. The position offers the opportunity to directly influence customer engagement, conversion performance, and revenue growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $224,720 – $382,030 annually

Responsibilities

Define and implement a proactive corporate PR strategy aligned with business goals

Build and maintain a distinctive brand voice to establish the company as a fintech authority

Develop rapid response capabilities for real-time media and issue management

Lead crisis communication and scenario planning with cross-functional teams

Cultivate relationships with top-tier financial, business, and technology media

Drive executive visibility through thought leadership and media engagement opportunities

Integrate earned media with social and digital strategies to maximize outreach

Qualifications

Leadership experience in corporate public relations within complex organizations

Expertise in media relations, reputation management, and crisis communications

Strong storytelling ability in business, technology, and financial contexts

Established relationships with senior reporters in financial and technology media sectors

Experience in developing and executing data-driven PR programs from concept to execution

Proven executive presence and ability to coach senior leaders effectively

Experience leading teams and managing external PR agencies
