Kforce has a client in Winchester, VA that is seeking a talented Web Application Developer to join a mission-focused team supporting critical enterprise systems. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy transforming complex requirements into high-quality, user-friendly solutions while working in a collaborative environment.Duties Include:
Design, develop, test, and maintain robust web-based applications
Write clean, efficient, and testable code using software development best practices
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive, functional applications
Recommend and implement software enhancements and upgrades to support current and future system requirements
Perform software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and deliver innovative solutions
Document applications, services, and environments to support future maintenance, upgrades, and knowledge transfer
Skills
Experience developing and maintaining web applications
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
Experience working with UI/UX concepts and modern web technologies
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
