Description
NY LGBT Network seeks qualified candidates for a full-time Program Operations Coordinator. This position is responsible for 3 main areas: data entry and coordination; community center operations; and program support. The Program Operations Coordinator works out of the NY LGBT Network’s Queens Center (Q-Center) at 35-11 35th Ave, Astoria, NY 11106 and reports to the Regional Director for Queens.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinating data entry, data cleaning, and analytics to meet multiple contract data reporting requirements

Perform various data entry activities, including program participant utilization, contact information, and demographic data into various organization databases and systems

Develop and maintain new data collection tools as needed

Assist the Regional Director in program department operations and special projects, including but not limited to provider outreach, facilitating MOUs, and coordinating program events.

Coordinate the inventory, ordering, and stocking of program and office supplies.

Troubleshoot basic IT challenges for the Q-Center, including printer and telephone issues and coordinate with IT consultants to address larger IT difficulties

Coordinate and record social media content for programs and service promotion and edit and post social media content as needed

Manage data entry and upkeep of internal and external LGBT-affirming resource directories

Participate in large-scale programs and events, such as the annual LGBT Youth Conference, Gender Affining Resource Fair, and various Pride Initiatives

Conduct community-based outreach activities to identify and engage program participants, including identifying new opportunities to connect and engage LGBT people as needed.

Work on special operations projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualification Requirements

3 years of work experience, preferably in the non-profit field or Bachelor’s degree

Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and social media

Good interpersonal and networking skills

Solid written, verbal, and problem-solving skills

Passion and motivation to be a part of the NY LGBT Network movement to help LGBT people to be themselves, stay healthy, and change the world

People who represent the community being served are strongly encouraged to apply

Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Flexible work schedule is a must, as this position requires working after-school and evenings and some weekends as needed
