Role Description

The Ad Operations Specialist is a full time role responsible for managing the setup, trafficking, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Working closely with account, media, and creative teams, this role ensures accurate implementation of campaigns, monitors performance, and troubleshoots delivery or tracking issues. Day-to-day tasks include configuring ad tags, validating targeting and pacing, updating placements, and generating performance reports for internal teams and clients. The position also involves collaborating on recommendations to improve campaign efficiency, documenting processes, and maintaining quality control standards. This is a role based in Madison, WI.
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis to monitor, interpret, and optimize campaign performance.
Clear, professional communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Understanding of marketing principles and digital advertising strategies, including campaign planning and execution.
Basic knowledge of sales processes and client-facing support to align campaign delivery with business objectives.
Experience with ad serving platforms, tracking tools, and analytics systems (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, or similar).
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfort with spreadsheets and reporting tools, including building and maintaining performance dashboards.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative hybrid team in Madison, WI.
Previous experience in digital ad operations, media, or related roles is preferred but not strictly required.
