The New York Times is seeking a visionary, deeply collaborative editor to lead its Books coverage. You will oversee the Books desk, shaping the Book Review’s editorial strategy across our website, app, newsletters, audio, video and social platforms.
The ideal candidate has 15+ years in journalism, 5+ years in leadership, deep knowledge of publishing and contemporary literature, and a proven track record of guiding a fast-paced digital newsroom. This is an in-office role in New York.
