We're looking for a sharp, trend-savvy Social Video Editor to join us on an ongoing contract basis. If you live and breathe social content and know how to turn raw footage into scroll-stopping edits, we want to hear from you.
Contract, ongoing engagement
40 hours per week, PST (LA local preferred)
$50 per hour range
Responsibilities:
Edit short-form and social-first video content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Bring in 2D motion graphics and animation to elevate storytelling and brand identity
Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and best practices — and help us move fast on them
Collaborate closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life from raw assets to final cut
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of professional editing experience
Strong command of Adobe Premiere and After Effects
Solid 2D animation skills — this one's a must
Figma experience is a nice-to-have
A genuine pulse on social media culture and what's trending right now
Ability to work independently, take feedback well, and turn things around quickly
