We are seeking an experienced
Benefits Lead & Design Strategist
to oversee both the design and administration of comprehensive employee benefits programs.
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Strategy & Design
Analyze market trends, benchmarking data, and workforce insights to develop competitive benefits programs.
Design and enhance medical, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary benefit offerings.
Evaluate plan effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data, employee needs, and regulatory changes.
Partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align benefits programs with organizational goals.
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), pension, FSA, HRA, COBRA, and FMLA.
Serve as the subject matter expert on benefits policies, compliance, and regulations.
Lead annual open enrollment and benefits-related projects, system enhancements, and vendor implementations.
Manage vendor relationships, eligibility feeds, billing reconciliations, and issue resolution.
Educate employees on benefits programs and provide guidance on complex benefit matters.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in benefits design and/or benefits administration.
Strong knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, and related regulations.
Experience with open enrollment, vendor management, and benefits analytics.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
CBP, PHR/SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification.
Experience with Oracle HRIS and SharePoint.
Background in Total Rewards, Benefits Strategy, or Employee Benefits Management.
