Position Title: Social Media Content Creator

About Us:

Salt & Honey Market supports local artisans by curating products and providing a space to inspire the community. We’re seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Content Creator to help expand our online presence and engage with our growing audience.

This will be a committed 8-12 hours a week position with 2-3 shifts consistently during weekday morning hours (10am-12pm). Must be willing and able to work at all our locations as needed including 9th & 9th in downtown Salt Lake, Fashion Place Mall in Murray and Downtown Daybreak in South Jordan.

This job can be used as a short term internship for college credit, or for longterm employment. This is the perfect job for anyone looking to have a steady part-time employment while also pursuing other interests like your own social media brand or another complimentary part time job.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

Develop engaging social media content, including photos, videos, reels, and graphics.
Create enticing emails and website content as well as manage templates.
Assist in scheduling and posting across platforms like our website and email server, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and other social media streams we deem necessary.

2. Community Engagement:

Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.
Engage with followers and build relationships to foster brand loyalty.

3. Campaign Support:

Work under the guidance of the Marketing Manager to execute social media campaigns.
Manage templates and assets
Coordinate with the Creative Team to ensure high-quality content aligns with brand aesthetics.

4. Trend Analysis:

Monitor social media trends and recommend innovative strategies.
Track performance metrics and suggest improvements for better engagement.

5. Administrative Tasks:

Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely postings.
Assist in brainstorming and planning future content ideas.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
Strong creativity and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Loves to be on camera and create engaging content that's fresh and new.

Position can start as soon as August 17th, 2026.
