We're a Texas-based experiential event agency specializing in corporate events, luxury celebrations, conferences, and immersive brand activations. From large-scale conferences to intimate executive dinners, we create environments people can't help but photograph—and we're looking for talented content creators to help capture those moments.
We're currently building a trusted roster of freelance Event Content Creators for recurring opportunities throughout the year in Houston and Austin.
The Role
You will be responsible for capturing the story, atmosphere, and energy of our events through high-quality photography and short-form video. Working independently on-site, you’ll blend seamlessly into the crowd to document the action as it unfolds naturally.
Key Responsibilities
Dynamic Coverage:

Capture BTS footage, styled event setups, candid guest interactions, keynote speakers, live entertainment, and venue atmosphere.
Brand Focus:

Highlight sponsor activations and branded signage.
Social-First Video:

Shoot vertical content formatted specifically for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Asset Delivery:

Provide high-res raw photo/video files post-event, along with a curated batch of lightly edited, social-ready assets.
Equipment
A professional camera is preferred but not required.
A smartphone capable of capturing high-quality photo and video (such as an iPhone Pro or equivalent) is perfectly acceptable.
If you own a gimbal or stabilizer, feel free to bring it, though it is not required.
Planned With does not provide equipment, so applicants must bring their own camera or smartphone.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience

in event photography, videography, or social content creation (corporate, luxury, or brand activation experience preferred).
Strong visual eye for composition, lighting, and narrative flow.
Proactive mindset! you can anticipate moments and capture authentic reactions.
Polished, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and clients.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules.
Must be locally based in the

Austin or Houston

metro areas.
This is a freelance contractor position with recurring opportunities throughout the year.
