Freelance 3D VFX Artist

Working remotely on a contracted basis, the Freelance 3D VFX Artist will create high-quality visual effects for teasers, trailers, and marketing videos, enhancing storytelling through dynamic animations over a 3-week period.
Key responsibilities:

Create high-quality 3D visual effects, including smoke, fire, water, and explosions
Develop VFX that align with the show's visual style and storytelling
Integrate and optimise effects for animation shots within the production pipeline

Required qualifications:

Proven experience creating high-quality visual effects for animation, film, television, or games
Strong understanding of simulation workflows, particles, dynamics, and procedural effects
Experience with industry-standard VFX software such as Unreal Engine, Houdini, or Maya
Solid understanding of lighting, rendering, and compositing principles as they relate to VFX
Strong artistic eye for timing, scale, motion, and visual impact
