Technical Writer I - Onsite

Location:

Houston, TX - Seeking local only

Contract

: 1 year contract with extension or conversion potential

Develop and maintain technical documentation for medical devices while partnering with R&D, Technical Support, and cross-functional teams. Create clear, accurate documentation for global distribution and ensure projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

Create manuals, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.

Collaborate with engineers to ensure documentation accuracy.

Publish content for print and digital media.

Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical writing experience, preferably with electronic or medical devices.

Proficiency with Adobe, Flare, Oxygen, or similar tools.

Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in a regulated environment (GMP/FDA) preferred.
