Nature of Work
Denver Summit FC is seeking a strategic and data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to lead digital initiatives that grow and engage our fanbase across web, app, and other digital platforms. They will own the day-to-day management and execution of web content and oversee improvements to the architecture, as well as ensuring content is refreshed on the app. This role is instrumental in amplifying the club's presence, driving measurable fan acquisition and retention, and delivering best-in-class digital experiences. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with creative execution, data fluency, and a passion for sports, culture, and community.
Examples of Work Performed
Strategy & Campaign Planning
Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with club revenue goals and audience growth targets.
Identify emerging digital trends and translate insights into actionable marketing plans.
Content & Website Oversight
Oversee digital content strategy and delivery across web and app platforms, ensuring brand alignment and voice consistency, including press releases, promotional updates, homepage carousels, highlight reels and more.
Optimize the Denver Summit FC website for performance, user experience (UX), SEO, and fan engagement.
Maintain and build landing pages and webforms to support various departments, including Ticketing, Community Relations and Partnerships.
App & Digital Platform Management
Lead management and enhancement of the club's official app, ensuring it serves as a dynamic hub for fans.
Publish targeted content on the mobile app, including personalized content for Season Ticket Members
Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain app performance and feature development.
Data, Analytics & Optimization
Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager) to track campaign performance, generate insights, and guide optimizations.
Prepare regular reports on KPIs and recommend improvements for ROI.
Develop and execute test & learn strategies to improve ticketing and merchandise conversion rates.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the website and mobile app to ensure optimal performance
Budget & Vendor Oversight
Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and high return on investment.
Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to execute website relaunch, digital activations and performance marketing campaigns.

Qualifications
Minimum
BS/BA degree in Marketing or related field
High School or GED
4+ years' experience in a website marketing manager or marketing web developer role.
Experience with Wordpress is required
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
Experience in a sports organization
Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing and website management
Strong familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console
Highly proficient with Wordpress websites and content management systems (CMS)
Highly proficient with HTML, CSS and Javascript
Excellent organizational and time management skills to oversee multiple campaigns and initiatives
Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and use them to make informed decisions
Proficiency with tools and techniques for tracking and analyzing data
Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments
Compensation
Base salary range $65,000-$75,000 per annum
Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
