The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is seeking a highly creative, strategically minded Graphic Designer to elevate our visual presence across print, digital, social, and experiential platforms. This role is instrumental in telling the story of our mission, shaping how our community sees itself, and ensuring that every piece of communication, from campaigns to events to digital experiences reflects excellence, clarity, and heart.

This position requires a blend of artistic vision, technical mastery, and professional discipline. The Graphic Designer will drive the look and feel of Federation communications, steward our brand identity, and create visually compelling designs that inspire action and deepen community connection.

Role and Impact
The Graphic Designer will be a creative leader within the Marketing & Communications team, helping define and implement the Federation’s visual strategy across all media. This role supports major campaigns, drives the consistency and evolution of our brand, and ensures that our visual storytelling remains fresh, impactful, and mission aligned.

Working closely with marketing colleagues, internal clients, leadership, and external partners, the designer will bring ideas to life from concept through final production, helping strengthen our brand, elevate donor and community engagement, and amplify the Federation’s message throughout South Palm Beach County and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the conceptualization and execution of high-impact designs across campaigns, marketing materials, digital platforms, presentations, and branded experiences

Transform strategy and messaging into compelling visual narratives

Develop assets for social media, web, email, print collateral, environmental graphics, and more

Brand Stewardship

Protect, maintain, and evolve the Federation’s brand identity

Build and update brand guidelines, templates, and design systems

Conduct periodic brand audits to ensure consistency and quality

Explore new design approaches to keep the brand fresh and competitive

Project & Workflow Management

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines and quality standards

Translate complex or ambiguous briefs into clear creative direction

Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and timely execution

Plan workloads, estimate timelines, and prioritize tasks effectively

Advanced Design & Innovation

Produce motion graphics, simple animations, or interactive elements (as needed)

Contribute visual direction to UX/UI initiatives

Experiment with emerging tools and creative technologies

Conduct ongoing visual trend research to inspire new ideas

Quality Control & Production

Oversee final production files for both print and digital output

Ensure accuracy in color, formatting, technical specs, and vendor requirements

Maintain standards of excellence across all deliverables

Stakeholder Communication

Support leadership with visually compelling presentations and creative storytelling

Communicate timelines, challenges, and project status proactively and professionally

A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience

5+ years of professional design experience, ideally in an in-house marketing team, agency, or creative department

Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)

Experience with project management tools (Monday.com or similar)

Knowledge of print production workflows, digital output, and Mac OS

Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to bring ideas from sketch to final execution

Motion design or video editing experience (After Effects, Premiere) strongly preferred

Experience art-directing or supporting photo and video shoots

Familiarity with basic web technologies (HTML/CSS) a plus

The ability to collaborate, take direction, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects
