Description
This is a temporary position for a period of 6 months.
Position Summary The Graphic Artist Assistant will create and produce page layouts designed to educate the community about programs and other resources available at The Library. This position works with The Library's brand standards and guidelines to design and prepare layouts for promotional materials using the Adobe Creative Cloud of software. The software includes, but is not limited to, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The Graphic Artist will assist the supervisor and collaborate with department staff on projects which focus on outreach activities throughout Dauphin County communities.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Education/Training: Certificate or Associates Degree in Graphic Design.
Experience: One-year experience graphic design. One-year experience using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Required: Ability to produce accurate, grammatically correct written communication. Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to move 25 lbs. unassisted.
Requires independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations.
