Physics Editor

Seeking a detail-oriented Associate or Senior Editor, the full-time position will manage the evaluation, review, and editing of submitted manuscripts in physics, particularly focusing on photonics, with opportunities for remote work in select US states.
Key responsibilities

Evaluate and edit submitted manuscripts, ensuring scientific content and style meet publication standards
Select reviewers and assess the scientific value of research submissions
Foster relationships within the scientific community and represent the organization at national and international meetings

Required qualifications

PhD in physics
One to five years of post-PhD experience, including postdoctoral research and publications
Comprehensive knowledge of scientific research methods
Strong outreach skills for acquiring high-quality papers
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
