Music Teacher/Choral Director

Sky View Middle School seeks a full time highly qualified music educator with excellent musicianship skills, basic piano proficiency, and a willingness to collaborate with teachers across the Leominster Music Department at various events. The preferred candidate will teach general music grades 6-8, and chorus grades 6-8. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
Teaching responsibilities may include:
6th grade general music
7th grade general music
8th grade general music
6th grade through 8th grade chorus - afternoon rehearsals and evening performances.
Collaborate with Leominster Music teachers to align curriculum.
Additional stipends may be available for after school music ensemble such as Select Choir
Chaperone and supervise students on trips and performances including school and district level festivals.

Salary commensurate with related experience.
