Soni's client, a growing apparel company specializing in golf, activewear, and performance apparel, is seeking an

Associate Designer

to join its creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, detail-oriented designer who enjoys contributing throughout the product development process, from concept through production.

Responsibilities:

Assist in designing seasonal collections across golf, activewear, and swimwear categories.

Create silhouette sketches, CADs, and seasonal design concepts.

Develop detailed production-ready tech packs for overseas factories and technical design teams.

Partner with production to review samples, approvals, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

Support senior designers with licensing approvals and brand compliance throughout the development process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on seasonal initiatives and special design projects.

Assist with product development from concept through production while maintaining design integrity and quality standards.
Qualifications:

2-3 years of apparel design experience.

Experience designing golf, activewear, swimwear, or related apparel categories is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform.

Advanced CAD design and technical sketching skills.

Experience creating detailed tech packs for production.

Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with overseas factories and product development teams.

Exposure to licensed apparel or branded programs.

Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and fit.

Passion for performance apparel, active lifestyles, and trend-driven design.

Compensation:

Up to$75,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
