This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Application Management Group (AMG).

As an IT Product Strategist, GS-2210-15, you will serve as a senior-level IT Product Strategist, responsible for shaping and driving enterprise-wide product strategy for complex, large-scale technology systems.

- Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

In order to qualify for the GS-15
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:

1) Develop enterprise IT product roadmaps to align long-term technology investments with organizational mission priorities;

2) Lead cross-functional teams to execute data-driven product strategies that modernize IT systems supporting national health insurance programs;

3) Translate business or policy needs into product strategies that drive modernization and align with organizational goals; AND

4) Facilitate strategic planning sessions to build consensus around product vision, resolve organizational challenges, or align priorities among stakeholders.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
