What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration to produce exceptional user experiences.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive UX strategy that aligns with HelloFresh's business objectives and enhances customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure a seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and improve the overall user journey.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Establish and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Analyze user feedback and metrics to continuously iterate on designs and enhance user engagement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep HelloFresh at the forefront of UX design innovation.
- Present design concepts and strategies to stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Advocate for the user within the organization, ensuring that user needs are prioritized in product development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns that resonate with our target audience and enhance brand loyalty.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that design projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading successful UX design projects from concept to implementation in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your ability to create user-centered designs.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
- Excellent understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing techniques.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
- A passion for food and a keen interest in the meal kit industry is a plus.

- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate better collaboration with engineering teams.
