Global Green Marketing & Communications Coordinator VISTA

Global Green is a nearly 30-year-old nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through infrastructure development, disaster resilience, and economic empowerment. As the U.S. affiliate of Green Cross International, Global Green has focused on supporting underserved communities by developing initiatives that enhance energy affordability, disaster preparedness, and sustainable infrastructure. Through strategic partnerships, public engagement, and awareness campaigns, Global Green continues to expand its impact and ensure that vulnerable populations have access to affordable, reliable, and resilient community resources.
Member Duties

The AmeriCorps VISTA member supports Global Green’s Marketing and Communications capacity by designing internal communications systems, messaging frameworks, content standards, and style guides for staff use. The VISTA will create internal social media planning tools, content calendars, engagement metrics dashboards, and documentation for staff implementation. The VISTA will also develop website-governance tools, content-update workflows, content-management protocols, messaging libraries, proposal templates, and partnership-tracking systems. Global Green staff will conduct all public-facing communications, media engagement, social media posting, fundraising outreach, and partnership engagement.
