Technical Documentation SpecialistThis role involves developing, managing, and publishing high-quality technical documentation to support a range of products and services. The individual will work within a collaborative, Agile environment to produce clear, accurate, and user-friendly content for diverse audiences, including users, partners, and internal teams. The position requires a detail-oriented writer with technical proficiency and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Create, update, and publish comprehensive technical documentation such as API references, developer guides, and operational manuals.Maintain and audit existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and UI/UX designers to gather technical requirements and translate them into customer-facing content.Convert technical engineering work into clear, accessible documentation using Agile methodologies.Support content integration into developer portals and publish workflows, including version control and content management system utilization.Incorporate reviewer feedback to uphold high documentation standards.Utilize tools such as Git, Markdown, static site generators, and content management systems for documentation development and publishing.Proactively learn and apply new technologies, including AI-assisted content generation tools, to improve documentation quality and efficiency.Assist in maintaining documentation consistency across multiple audiences and platforms.Ensure all documentation aligns with technical standards and branding guidelines.Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of related experience or Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.Exceptional written communication, editing skills, and thorough knowledge of English grammar and style.Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize large, complex documentation sets.Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.Technical proficiency with Git, GitHub, Markdown, static site generators, and content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager.Understanding of CI/CD workflows, basic CLI operations, and API documentation standards.Basic scripting skills in Python and familiarity with pip package management.Experience with emerging AI tools for content development and workflow integration.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 – $45.00 HourlyThis is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.At GDH, we believe in the power of people and the importance of caring.
